A few years ago, we were working with a non-profit to help them select and implement a new enterprise digital asset management system (DAMS). This was a first for the small organization of about 200 staff across the US, and a few in the UK. And so, very early on, we sat down with them to have a frank conversation about the resources that it would take to not only implement the DAMS, but also for it to be successful over time. They asked, “Can we manage this with the current staff we have today?”

Additionally, we will invite experts in the region to talk about topics related to digital preservation, such as digitization, digital preservation systems and tools, digital preservation fundamentals, case studies, and more! Each 45-minute webinar will consist of a presentation followed by questions and answers.
Announcing Release of Fixity 1.0

AVP is pleased to announce the release of Fixity 1.0! Fixity is a free file monitoring and attendance tool that allows users to schedule regular scans of files and folders to generate reports on new, changed, moved, renamed or missing files. Additionally, generated reports can be automatically sent to user-defined email addresses to alert of any changes found in scanned files.
