Joan Hua is experienced in solving information problems in various organizational contexts. She works to design systematized solutions that center human needs and values. Her work results in streamlined workflows, increased findability of digital assets, enriched metadata, and better defined paths to navigate abstract challenges. In addition to her experiences with digital asset management and media-rich digital collections, she has worked in areas including research data management, music publishing, cultural heritage sustainability, digital content production, and instructional design. She holds a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Puget Sound. She lives in Seattle.
